If Jolliffes held a pamper-filled networking event recently at their offices to aid The Stroke Association. The evening event raised a total of £1,000 and was attended by over 50 guests and staff.
The fun evening included hand & arm massages by Molton Brown Chester, a nail file & polish by Nailista, product demonstrations by Arbonne and a silent auction of a Cocktail Masterclass by the Botanist worth £150. An auction of Jolliffes’ solicitor Tom Newman’s professional services proved to be a popular part of the evening.
The winner was guest company Digitonomy. Raffle prizes were donated by Nailista, Arbonne, Bar Lounge, Luke & Gin Rickey’s, Peter Murray at POPperfumery, Pitcher & Piano, Zügers, Jolliffe & Co LLP and Fluke Photography. Canapés and finger food were provided by The Cheshire Dining Experience, with cupcakes from Zügers Café and goodie bags were handed out at the end with vouchers & free products.
Laura McMullin, Regional Fundraiser at the Stroke Association, said; “Without the efforts of fundraisers like the team at Jolliffes, we wouldn’t be able to support the 42,000 people in the North West who are currently living with the devastating effects of stroke, as well as their families and carers. We’re extremely grateful to the team for all their fantastic support.”
Will Newman, Trainee Solicitor at Jolliffe & Co LLP, said; “As part of Jolliffes’ commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, the firm’s employees have nominated Stroke Association UK as its Charity of the Year 2016/17. Our employees will be taking part in a number of fundraising events throughout 2016 and the early part of 2017.”
